Domain description :

The Domaine Le Roc history is that of a family and a united team where everyone finds his place. Jean Luc, took over the family property in 1981, joined by Fred and Cathy in 1988 and then by Pierre in 1995. For over 30 years, the philosophy is the same: Working in harmony and respect of life. Here no organic label, but a healthy and sustainable agriculture, with a respectful and sincere guided by common sense peasant and the certainty that the earth is not ours.

Description of the appellation :

The wine of Toulouse! Vineyard Fronto spans three river terraces of the left bank of Tarn dating from the quaternary: the boulbènes (pebbles, sand and silt), chiggers (clay loam) and bass. We grow a single grape variety in the world: négrette.

Description of the region :

The Southwest vineyard deploys foothills of the Massif Central to the Pyrenees flanks on historical provinces such as the Basque Country, Rouergue, Guyenne, Béarn, Gascony and Aquitaine. The Southwest vineyards extend over the Adour Basin, Aveyron and the Basque mountains, the Toulouse country, Quercy, Agen, Albi and Bergerac. They have a moist and mild maritime climate, somewhat influenced by the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees. This climate is characterized by frosts in spring, cold winter, summer and autumn are warm. The designations differ in their micro-climates, favored by reliefs that allow the vines installation.
