Founder and owner David Paxton is one of the most respected Australian winemakers - a reputation based on the management and culture of exceptional quality grapes for over 30 years. The Paxton family has cultivated its own vineyards in McLaren Vale, South Australia, for three decades.
McLaren Vale is the birthplace of the wine industry in South Australia and is home to some of the oldest vines in the world. It has about 65 wineries, most of them small. There are also 270 independent winemakers.
