Founded in 2005, Kilchoman is the first distillery built on Islay for over a century. Rocked by the sea spray from the beach at Machir Bay, it is built on the model of a "farm distillery".
Whiskey or whiskey is a generic name for a set of brandies produced by distilling malted grains or unmalted. The origin of the whiskey is still controversial among Scots and Irish, everyone from his oldest evidence. Thereafter, the whiskey was exported to the New World (including the United States and Canada). Since the early twentieth century, distilleries have developed in Japan and in the world recently.
