Yoichi distillery, located 1km from the Sea of Japan, produces a whiskey with salty notes and slightly medicinal. Yoichi has its own cooperage and pays particular attention to the selection of casks, made locally from new oak. Sacred "Best Single Malt in the World"! This title coveted award twice (2002 and 2008) at the World Whiskeys Awards in Yoichi Single Malt.
Whiskey or whiskey is a generic name for a set of brandies produced by distilling malted grains or unmalted. The origin of the whiskey is still controversial among Scots and Irish, everyone from his oldest evidence. Thereafter, the whiskey was exported to the New World (including the United States and Canada). Since the early twentieth century, distilleries have developed in Japan and in the world recently.
