Domain description :

Vignerons Domaine des Loons since 1846, the family Gendrier led the field for fifteen years in organic and biodynamic agriculture. The Loons Domain is located in the municipality of Cour-Cheverny, between the Loire and Sologne, 4 km from Château de Cheverny and 15 km from the Chambord. We produce AOC wines of Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny, 100% romorantin grape. Since 1922, our family produces varietal wines romorantin, seduced by his great qualities.

Description of the appellation :

AOC since 1993. The variety of Cour-Cheverny introduced by François 1st in 1519 was planted near the castle of Romorantin where his mother lived. 11 towns of Loir-et-Cher concerned by this white wine.

Description of the region :

The vineyards of the Loire Valley, the Loire Valley vineyard Loire or according to preferences, brings together many wine regions. The wines produced in these regions are sweet white wines, dry, semi-dry or sweet; light red wines; rosés and sparkling wines more. The vineyards are located along the Loire and its tributaries, covering 70,000 hectares. They are spread over several areas of production: Anjou, the Nantes region, the Center and Touraine.
