Jean Foillard unveils its first wine in 1981. He works in the vineyard respect for the land. Winemaking is performed traditionally.
The Morgon appellation belongs to the Beaujolais crus and extends over 1,110 hectares on the slopes of Mount sweet Py. The vineyard benefits from various climates: oceanic, Mediterranean (in the summer) and continental (in the winter). Each year, about 56,000 hectoliters of wine produced there. These wines are complex compounds and the Gamay grape.
The Journal of Wine in France called "the most sensual of the vineyards." Beaujolais spreads over 17,324 ha, forming a ribbon of a width between 10 and 15 km and a length of 50 km. This tape is from Macon to Lyon on the Beaujolais hills that can reach over 1000 meters. The main grape of Beaujolais is Gamay Black. This allows an excellent range of wines, finesse and aromas: the Beaujolais and Beaujolais Villages. The region comprises ten vintages, all characteristics of their own land: Saint-Amour, Chénas, Fleurie, Chiroubles, Morgon, Brouilly, Régnié, Julienas, Brouilly and Côte de Moulin-à-Vent. The third Thursday of November, the famous Beaujolais Nouveau arrives. Tradition dictates that we celebrate the new wine around a good meal with friends or family to enjoy all the flavors of the new vintage.
